Terenure Diaspora.
A Diaspora is a scattering of people away from their established homeland.
There are now 215 million people in the world who live in a country other than the one in which they were born, a number that has tripled in the last 30 years. They are living in a world that is more globalised, interconnected and interdependent than ever before. Countries are realising that these Diasporas are an important resource and what was once the preserve of a few countries is now the interest of many as they look for ways to connect, create and collaborate.
The Terenure Diaspora refers to the people from Terenure and their decedents who have left the area and are now living around Ireland and overseas.
We believe that networking with the Terenure Diaspora will lead to creative and innovative ways of converting what was once considered a loss to the community into a mutually beneficial community asset for the future.
Over the next number of years, with your help, we will identify the members of Terenure Diaspora and we will build a mutually beneficial relationship with them. So if you are someone who came from Terenure originally and are currently living away from the area but would like to re-engage with the Terenure community then simply email info@tcrfc.ie and register your interest.

“On Thursday the 6th of June in the Rugby Club Lakelands, you are all invited to the “Bumper Harvest 2020”, starting at 8pm sharp and will finish around 10pm. (Finger Food will be served)
It is now 2 Years since we started the “Vision 2020” , but now we need more help and by this we need new people with new ideas and time to give to our Club.
On the night bring a friend to show them what a wonderful Club we are building together for the benefit of the whole Terenure Community.”
