Terenure College RFC will hold its first ever Open Day a initiative of the Leinster Branch on Saturday the 22nd of September. The Day will KO with our pre match lunch at 2 where we will honour the Terenure & Marys sides who contested the Leinster League final 30 years ago which Terenure won with a hotly contested try by Hitchy
The Rugby will KO with the U21s, J1s & J5s at 2 followed by the 1sts, J3 & J4 at 4. After the Senior game on the main pitch two great Tag games will be played with our ladies The Terenure Tan Lions playing their first competitive game and our Vets Tag team locking horns also with Marys. We are also looking at a couple of mini /youth games. The results in all games will decide who takes the Trophy with each game worth one point.
There will be Bouncy Castles and a BBQ during the day and a information desk with details on all areas of the Club, Mini, Youth, Senior, Ladies, Social and Vision 2020. The evening will end or in some case begin with a Disco blasting out tunes from the 80s. This will be a fun filled Day and we need support from all sections of the Club.
Saturday 25th August Leinster League b fixture has been moved from Lakelands to Belfield.

Please note also that ALL PITCHES remain closed following remedial work until further notice. Training for the Senior Squad continues in the VEC and for Junior Rugby in Tymon Park.
Junior Rugby Trial matches and friendly fixtures to be announced shortly.
Under 21 Training has commenced Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm in VEC grounds.
Mini and Youth Rugby Sunday training will commence on the 16th September.

Rugby league – Aston Names Squad For England Knights Clash
Ireland Head Coach Mark Aston has today unveiled his 19 man squad which will take on the England Knights at Langtree Park on Saturday 16th June. Aston’s squad includes six home grown players in the form of Wayne Kerr, Joe Taylor, Paddy Barcoe Ian Cross, Aaron McCloskey and Terenure College R.F.C. new signing Adam Hughes who has been included in a senior squad for the first time.
The inclusion of Taylor, Barcoe and Hughes means that the Dublin City Exiles have three players in the squad.
Aston has included a further six uncapped players in his squad including Widnes Viking Kurt Haggerty as well as Leeds Rhinos Academy Starlet Sean Casey who follows in the footsteps of his father Leo Casey and brother Callum Casey who have both represented Ireland previously.
Another Widnes man Dave Allen returns to the squad having played in the 2008 World Cup in Australia while Warrington Wolves back row Tyrone McCarthy is also recalled for the game.
Liam Finn is set to captain the side for the fourth time since taking over that mantle last year.
The game will be used by Aston to look at his options ahead of the squads international series in the winter.
