Never mind the Six Nations, we have our own games this week!

We have three cracking fixtures, spread around the international lineup, starting on Friday night with the second round of the Metro Cup. The 2nds take on Clontarf in Lakelands at 8pm, hoping to get straight back to winning ways after a rare loss last weekend. These two sides have met twice already this season in the league, with the lads taking the spoils on both occasions – but it took a last minute score to snatch victory in Castle Avenue last month.

On Saturday morning, the 5th XV are the amuse bouche for the Six Nations main course later in the day, playing a titanic top of the table clash against Old Belvedere. Handily scheduled for Anglesea Road at 11.30, it’s the perfect match to watch then stroll down to the Aviva. Finally, on Sunday, the 20s travel to Templeville for a belter of a game against Mary’s. Top notch games this weekend!

Don’t forget that the three six nations matches will be shown live in the clubhouse this weekend, and all are welcome to come down and join the fun!
