The 2nds face Old Belvedere on Saturday afternoon, and have been in great form recently. With two big games left (Belvo and Mary’s), they have a great chance to pull themselves out of a relegation playoff, and will be confident taking on Old Belvedere this week after a big win over Suttonians in the Cup last Sunday.

The 3rd XV sit third in Division 4, and must beat Old Belvedere this Friday night to have any chance of making the playoff. With a game in hand, Belvo hold the aces, but with a bit of luck the lads could make it. Make sure to make the short trip to Anglesea Road this Friday to support them.

The 5th XV take on Greystones in a basement battle this Saturday, in what is likely to be a dress rehearsal for the relegation playoff. Captain Dave ‘Atillio’ Lombard has welcomed back some experienced faces recently, and will be sure to use this opportunity to prepare for the business end of the league.

The 6ths are away to Bective on Saturday morning, and will be looking to bounce back after last week’s narrow defeat to Railway Union. Nure and Railway Union look likely to finish as the top two, and face each other again in the playoff final.
