George was a hugely popular member of both clubs, and is now represented in the club by his son Craig, who you will all know from the all-conquering U20s last season. The two clubs play in George’s memory each season, and this year it is Garda’s turn to host the event. Along with the match, Garda are celebrating their 50th anniversary, and have a full day’s activities planned. Kick off in our match is 3pm, with other games taking place over the whole day, along with visits from members of the Leinster Senior team and the Irish Women’s team.
