Rugby – Mid Season Update    

 

It’s opportune that at the half way mark of the season that we recognise where we are regarding the on pitch activities;

 

We are firstly fielding at all levels and on various weekends fielded 6 senior teams with subs and that is a fine achievement and one some other clubs would love to be able to do.  

 

We are also competitive at all levels with everyone alive in their sections/leagues;

 

1sts – Second in AIL Div 2A

2nds – First in Section B

J2/J3  –  First in Section B

J4A –  4^th in Section A

J4B – 6^th in Section C

J5 – Joint 1^ST in phase 2 having won phase 1

Under 21 – 3^rd in Section B

 

Our Youth side are having a great run having won 6 matches this season and the numbers from Under 6 TO Under 14 are fantastic as ever.

 

Our Ladies Tag team also competed in their first games in the inaugural Leinster Tag League.   

 

I hope we can build on the start we have had; and all involved in the Management of the Club thank you all you for your considerable efforts and wish you continued success in 2013.
