Some big carries at start of the second half by John Dever (Terenure), led to a try by Andy Hamlin to put them into the lead at 14 – 13. The British Team came back strongly and re-took the lead with 18 minutes to go with another penalty.
The Irish Team responded with another O’Toole penalty to give them a one point lead came back strongly and another penalty saw them take the lead.
