It’s the last rugby weekend of the year, with all of our sides in action over the coming days. Each team will be hoping to end 2017 on a high, and leave them set for a push in their respective leagues in the new year.

The 1st XV make the trip to Limerick’s ‘Killing Fields’ Ro face Young Munster, a week on from their bonus point win over the same opposition. That win put us into second place in the table, but the Cookies pushed us all the way and will be a different proposition altogether on their home turf. There is few more difficult places to get a win, and the team need all the support we can give them. A Supporters bus has been organised, leaving the club at 10am and returning at 5.30pm. Places are limited, so please contact Niall Sweeney on 0872070064 to book.
The 2nds, who sit pretty at the top of Division 1, have the unusual kick off time of 8pm on Thursday 14th, when they host local rivals Mary’s in Lakelands. Derbies like this don’t need any further promotion, but with top spot in the league at Christmas up for grabs, there will be an added edge to this game.
The 3rds, flying high in Division 3 after a superb start to the season, host Blackrock on Saturday in Lakelands, again looking to keep that excellent form going as they head into the break.
The 4ths have a Friday night lights match, while the 5th XV’s match against Suttonians has been conceded by Suttonians.
On Monday night, the 6th XV have a huge game at home to Mary’s, looking to gain some valuable points to propel them into the top half of Division 11.
