This year’s Terenure College RFC annual fundraising golf outing will take place in The Castle Golf Club on Friday the 18th May, 2012. For the avoidance of any doubt this is the only Rugby Club Golf Outing that will be taking place this year. Ronnie Harrison is President of the Rugby Club for 2011/2012 is a member of The Castle and hopes to see you on the day as does the incoming President Donal Hyland.

Details

1. The first tee is reserved from 8.30a.m. to 12.30p.m. and 2.00p.m. to 4.00p.m.

2. It will be a stableford competition, four man teams with the best two scores on each hole to count. Entry cost for each team is ¤440.00 for teams playing up to 12.30p.m. and €480 per team for teams playing between 2.00p.m. and 4.00p.m. Individual cost €110.00 up to 12.30p.m. and €120.00 for slot between 2.00p.m. and 4.00p.m..

3. A three course meal will be served at 8.00p.m.

4. Dinner will be followed by prize giving.

Payment

Payment must be received before a place can be reserved on the timesheet. The timesheet will be run by Jackie Leonard, Secretary of The Rugby Club at Lakelands, Greenlea Grove, Terenure,Dublin 6W.

Office hours between now and the 17th May, 2012: Monday and Friday: 9.00a.m. to 5.00p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9.00a.m. to 1.00p.m. Please include the names of the players on your team. Payment can be made in the following way:

(i) By cheque made out to Terenure College Rugby Football Club, to Jackie Leonard, Lakelands, Greenlea Grove, Terenure, Dublin 6W. Please fill in and detach the bottom of the page indicating your preferred tee time.

(ii) Cash to Jackie Leonard at Lakelands.

(iii) Credit Card: to pay by credit card please print this page and fill out details at the bottom of this page indicating your preferred tee time and send to Jackie Leonard, Lakelands, Greenlea Grove, Terenure, Dublin 6W.

Please bear in mind that you do not have to come forward with a team of four to enter. Individual spots will be filled in and you can pay for an individual spot by any of the methods described above.

You are probably aware that the finances of The Rugby Club have improved significantly over the previous year. From returning losses in the region of €100,000.00 for the two previous years.

The Club returned a small profit for 2011.

Night at the Dogs-Thank you for your support!

The Club “Night at the Dogs” proved to be a great financial and social success. The Oak suite at Shelbourne Park was full to capacity with members and friends enjoying an excellent meal and in between courses taking the odd punt! The winner of the Trip with the Leinster team to an away game in the Rabo Direct Pro 12 league is Barbara Kelly who had the winning ticket combination in the 7^th Race of the night. Thanks to all for supporting this event and particular thanks to ticket sellers and Charlie Kelly who organised the evening.
