We have four fixtures this week, with the 1st XV taking a weekend off due to the Six Nations. The 2nds kick off the weekend, taking on Clontarf in the quarter final of the Metropolitan Cup. Clontarf finished top of Division 1, and will pose a huge challenge. However, our recent good form will give us great confidence, as will the close result in the recent league match between these two sides.

The 4th XV take on Wanderers on Saturday morning, knowing that a win will guarantee a playoff spot. The game takes place at 11pm on Merrion Road – what better way to get ready for the Ireland game?

The 5ths travel to Barnhall on Saturday morning for their last league game before their relegation playoff against Greystones. A (big) bonus point win could potentially lift them above ‘Stones, giving them home advantage.

The U20s kick off their McCorry Cup campaign on Sunday against St Mary’s. On paper, our lads must be favourites, but we all know that derby games don’t go the way they always should – so get down and support!
The match kicks off at 5.45pm to allow for the JCT match against Blackrock, which is at 3pm in Donnybrook. The Juniors have had two hardfought wins over Kilkenny and Newbridge, and they’ll need that steely edge against a Rock side that have scored 90 unanswered points in two games. Lunch, Junior match, 20s game followed by a relaxing pint in the Club? Tidy little Sunday!
